FAQ

Yes, absolutely! An overseas student is classed as someone who lives outside of the EU and requires a visa.

Unfortunately we are unable to offer student visas as our courses are less than six months long.  You can undertake a course for up to 30 days in duration with us providing it is part of your visit using a visitor’s visa. You will need to apply for your visa independently from your country of residence.

All of the courses that we offer are recognised industry qualifications through the IMA (International Make-Up Association). However, you will only receive this once you have passed your practical and theory examination plus handed in your completed portfolio and research project.

This is dependant on your course notes and examination dates. Your certificate will be awarded once all the course requirements are met. If you are from outside the UK then please allow two to three days extra.

We receive many job opportunities, which are passed on to the students and graduates who have been selected to join the ISHM Pro team.

We stock every major cosmetic brand at the school which is available for use by all students when being trained, however in terms of personal kits, we feel that it is best for students to purchase their own. We do provide advise on what is needed in the kit and are also able to provide wholesaler contact details.

We use all the major brands at the school including MAC, Bobbi Brown, NARS, Illamasqua, Make-Up For Ever, Laura Mercia, Ben Nye, Anastasia of Beverly Hills and others.
